dickies cargos for women September 30, 2008 Beth L. Braverman 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Dickies need to be ordered a size up so if you are a 5/6 order an 8. I need pockets at work and these pants have plenty. I can carry a box knife, cell phone, notes, badges, keys, money and still have 1 pocket left over. Would like them to have more of a straight leg as they are more of a boot cut style and less leg room from the thigh down would be great but overall I love these pants.
My new Dickies November 9, 2009 Ingmarie E. Peck 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great fit I'm a little on the short side, ( 5.4 )and I bought the petite length
I could use regular length With this style.
They hold the fit and color after several washes as well.
Great Pants!! July 21, 2009 Lauren Williams (Oakland, CA) I am a courtesy clerk at safeway, so i do a lot of work such as pushing carts bagging groceries and all the other dirty work.So these pants are definitely durable in my work situation, i love the fit, and the fabric is very comfortable! I love my new pants
These pants are great for dog lovers. October 12, 2009 L. Koch (St. Petersburg, FL) I use these pants when I walk, play with, bath and groom the dog. He can put his paws all over them and they hold up. When they get dirty I throw them in the washer and they clean right up. Also the longer you own them the softer they get. I wear them in all seasons.
I wore these pants when I went on my last cruise. I had the khaki colored ones. By cruise time I had them for almost eight months, so they were nice and soft. If you hang them up after you wash them you will not have to iron them and that makes them great for trips. You can fit your passport in the zippered pocket with your money. Your phone has it own pocket, so you will not have to carry a bag or worry about security. These pants keep your hands free for photos or to hold your husband's, boyfriend's or partner's hand. I have three pairs and intend to get another in khaki. I wish they came in more colors.
shop worker May 24, 2009 C. carpenter (western ny) These are work pants. I work on the floor of a food processing plant. I don't want heavy pants, it gets too hot. These pants work great for me. They have faded over the year, but I am still able to wear them. I looked all over for pants with cargo pockets, for women they are hard to find. The fabric does soften up considerably after washes. My shop provides us with free uniform pants...those are worse. I find these to be very comfortable. The legs are a boot cut, if you have a job where you are bending or just moving a lot you have room to move & they don't cling to your body. I normally wear a size 8 but a 10 fits me good. Its great that you can order them in tall lengths. If you are looking for a fashion statement, I wouldn't recommend these pants, however if you are looking for well designed work pants (lots of pockets) that are durable, these fit the bill. The only negative is the fact that they do fade, although some of the pants I'm still wearing are over a year old. Over all they have held up real well. For me, these work.
