When I first got these, I couldn't beleive how stiff the material was, but I've really grown to love the way these feel. I don't know why, but I do. They've softened up some, but are still pretty stiff.
I like the color. They are a bit baggy, but I guess that's so you can put them on/off without taking your shoes off, which I rarely do, but I guess construction workers do? but I'm not sure why. :-)

It was the wide range of size availibity that drew the men of our house (3) to Carhartt but it is the quality of the jeans that keeps us coming back. They are good looking and stand up to many washings.

These great-looking work pants wear like iron. I bought two pairs of the moss green in 2006. Four years of almost constant wear has faded and slightly softened them, but I fully expect them to last another four years. There's some fraying along the edge of my most-used pocket, but the pocket itself isn't compromised, and the seat and knees show no wear at all.
The small pocket halfway down the leg is the perfect size for my clamshell mobile. An iPhone might not fit in that pocket, but you've got four other pockets to choose from. Love all the pockets.
The pants will dry almost wrinkle-free if you take them out of the washer, hang them from pants hangers, and let them air-dry.
These pants have far exceeded my expectations, and were worth every penny. The quality of construction and the sturdiness of the fabric hearkens back to a time when things were built to last. A great buy.
